This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for Review Scout. The service is provided by Review Scout Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17219152), with its registered office at 190 Nidd Road East, Sheffield, S9 3BG, United Kingdom.
We offer a 7-day free trial of our service. During the trial:
If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged. We will send a reminder email before your trial ends.
After the trial period:
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
When you cancel:
As a general policy, Review Scout subscriptions are non-refundable once a payment has been collected. This is standard practice for monthly software subscriptions where the service for that billing period has already been made available to you.
However, we will consider refunds in the following circumstances:
Service failure on our part. If, due to a fault on our end, you have not received the core service (for example, your QR codes were not delivered within 7 days of subscription start despite repeated attempts to contact us), we will issue a full refund for the affected period.
Accidental duplicate charges. If you have been charged more than once for the same billing period due to an error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
Cancellation immediately after auto-renewal. If your subscription auto-renewed and you contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge requesting cancellation, we will, at our discretion, issue a full refund for the renewed period — provided the service has not been actively used in that renewed period.
We reserve the right to assess refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Refunds outside the circumstances listed above will only be granted at our discretion or where required by law.

We aim to respond to refund requests within 3 business days.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used to make the purchase. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your bank or card issuer's processing time.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law, including:
By starting your free trial and using the service, you acknowledge that the service is supplied to you immediately. If you are a consumer (rather than a business customer), you may have a 14-day right to cancel a digital services contract under the 2013 Regulations; however, by accessing and using the paid service before the end of that 14-day period, you accept that you may lose this right of cancellation under those Regulations to the extent the service has already been performed.
Most Review Scout customers are businesses (restaurants), and these consumer rights generally do not apply to business-to-business agreements.
